Cashew, was 1 of 5 siblings born in foster care. They were all doted on and well-loved by their mama and their foster family. Cashew is a silly little kitten, sorta lost in his own world. He loves life and playing. Other times, he'll follow you around like "a puppy". He is a happy guy who welcomes any attention you give him. His favorite thing is charging through a crinkly tunnel. He enjoys having other cats around him, especialy one who will race around with him.
Cashew was born with mild-to-moderate cerebellar hypoplasia (aka Wobbly Kitty Syndrome), likely exposed to an infection while his mother was pregnant. Common symptoms include jerky movements, head bobbing and intention tremors, heightened startle response, execution processing. He will not improve, but he is still growing and getting stronger, learning to compensate. He also will not worsen from it. Luckily, he isn't aware that he is different. If anything, he's even cuter. He may have difficulty going down stairs, and he sometimes clunks into walls, but he doesn't let it bother him.
Cashew will brighten your world and keep you smiling
