Hello, My name is Dextor. I was a stray in a trailer that traveled from place to place for many years before being caught by a volunteer & brought into rescue. I have a had a rough start to life with reports of abuse by the residents of the trailer. Once in rescue I was fully vetted & diagnosed with Feline Leukemia & FIV. While that may shorten my life by a few years I am currently in great health. Wwith a proper diet, supplements & regular vet visits I hope to continue to stay as healthy as I can. Feline Leukemia & FIV hamper my ability to fight infections and overcome illnesses. It can also be spread to other cats so I will need to go to a home without cats or with cats already affected with Feline Leukemia. 

I am happy to be safe indoors and living a better life. Everynight I go to bed wishing for a forever home of my very own. I am a sweet, loving boy that is quite laid back. I've been doing great gettig to  know my foster mom & her friends. I'm so far a bit terrified & scared of her husband, sons. Hopefully in time I will grow to love men as well. Just be mindful of me needing time in a new space as change can be scary. But for the time being I'm currently a ladies man. Who has room in their heart & home for me ?
