Ladybird aka Birdie came to SFAAR after their owners brought her to a partnering vet for euthanasia. Thankfully the vet called us to take her in. Ladybird was a little upset with the newborn baby in the home & was feeling neglected. So she marked things. It had only been a few weeks & the owner had enough. Once with SFAAR she settled in amazingly. She is a sweet, quirky girl that loves attention. She isn't a fan of being picked up. Prefers her feet firmly on the ground. She's not a fan of a busy environment. She has used her litterbox regularly & never marked. She gets along great with cats. Due to her adversion to the baby we are a seeking a quiet, home that she can feel at home in, without the stress of feeling replaced. Ideally with her quirky personality it would be best to have previous cat experience. As everything she did prior to rescue is totally understandable to someone whose had cats before.
