Amara and her siblings were brought to SFAAR after a good samaritan found them abandoned in a house.
Amara is an absolute sweet heart. She loves the company of her foster family and greets everyone who comes to visit. When you settle down to watch tv or use the computer, she will be right there to keep you company. Sometimes when her foster mom sits on the sofa, Amara will lay behind her mom's head and play with her hair, even try to lick it. Mom doesn't mind. She said it feels like massage.
Amara enjoys playing with her brothers and sisters, playing with toys and racing around the house. She is an active kitty and is just delightful. She can make a toy out of almost anything. Amara likes to hide in boxes and baskets. She is also very inquisitive and will try to get into any place that has a door: closets, cupboards, bathrooms, laundry rooms. She is very quick so you have to be careful she doesn't get into a room where she shouldn't be or doesn't get accidentally locked in a closet.
Amara would enjoy the company of another cat or kitten and is happy with lots of attention from her foster family. She is very sociable and would make a great member to any household.
