Janaye needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start?

Hello, I would love you more than you could imagine. Consider sponsoring me! I am the most lovable kitten that you could ever meet. I was left behind in an apartment because my owner couldn’t take me with them. I was then brought to an animal control where St. Francis learned about me. Once I was with them and settled into a wonderful foster home, I was then taken to the vet to get fixed. It was there that they learned that I was probably feeling pain for a long time, long enough that it has become normal for me to be in pain. They were feeling an enlarged kidney. I got blood tests and urine tests done to see if it would be ok for me to get fixed and for them to look at my kidney. I was able to get fixed and did great!  They learned that I had an infection and I am now on two different kinds of antibiotics and special food for my kidney for three weeks. Then I will have more tests to see how I am doing. I am praying that this will fix my problems. I really hope you choose to sponsor me so I can have a chance at finding a forever family because I believe that every kitty should have a chance to find a loving home.

Hello, I have been on the meds for quite some time and have been retested. The antibiotics are working. The infection is going away. Soon I will be as good as new. I have been having a lot of fun here in my foster home with the little girl that lives here. I am not getting use the big doggies though. I still hiss quite a bit. Meow Meow for now....

April 24... Today I got a recheck and my infection is gone and my kidney is back to normal size. I get to eat normal kitten food and stop taking meds. In 2-3 weeks I get to go back to the vet and get my final check. If everything is still normal I will finally get to find my forever family. I can't wait!!

Hello, I was rechecked and they found that I had a bladder infection. My kidneys were fine though. After treatment, my infection is gone. They did diagnose me with Feline Idiopatic Cystitis. Feel free to call and ask questions. They recommend that I eat can food to help with water intake. The more water I drink the better I will be. It doesn't matter what kind of can food I eat. I am now ready to find my forever family. I really hope you choose to adopt me because I know we will have lots of fun together.
