Hello, my name is Dude. I have been in rescue 10 months & am finally ready to transition to new home. I was a barn cat that was surrendered to a vet clinic when they weren't able to afford to medical care for me. I had come to SFAAR with an injured leg that needed to be amputated. I was diagnosed with FIV in rescue & ended with a chronic URI that is couldn't kick after countless meds. I ended up having a CT scan to make sure i didn't have a polyp. I was diagnosed with rhinitis which is a fancy way of saying my nasal passages were inflamed. They tried one last antibiotic & after months of sneezing it finally cleared up. My new family will have to be okay with potential future flare ups. Although I have been off meds for over a month & doing great.

I have been the friendliest boy throughout this. I love to be pet, give head bumps & sit with you. My favorite past time is sitting on my cat tree & watching the birds. I love my buddy Hamton & get along great with cats. While I love my foster home it is finally time to find a forever home of my own.
